yeah. there is no rules. the one thing i consider lame though is sampling another hip hop producers work, like if i jack the drums off illmatic. it aint right or wrong but i think its gay.

what? there are a lot of quality drums in that genra. I never keep em how they are tho. I change em to the point where you cant even really hear there the same

as far as taking the drums of another hiphop track goes - i heard a starving artist crew song on the radio and it sounded identical to pete rock's 'no more words', (also PUTS acid raindrops/what you say)im hearing more songs these days which are just taking pete rock loops and beats and rapping over them - that shit annoys me

I dont know who it was but I heard a song 45th and Broadway and that was just over the old sir mix a lot beat for posse on broadway that kinda made me mad cause that songs a classic
