Hi guys,

As it says in the title MPC touch it's constantly showing the desktop, even when in the MPC software.
Shift and erase has no effect at all on this, and all the drivers are installed properly.
Running the latest version of Windows 10.
And the latest firmware on the MPC touch.

The touch screen still works while in the MPC software but it does not display the user interface just my desktop.

Any clues guys???

Thanks in advance.

It looks like a display link problem.

Try to completely uninstall the driver with the cleaner (http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?d=64) and then reboot.

Then install the driver included in the last version of mpc prog you can found on akai pro site.

This is wrong. You don‘t need to reinstall anything.

The answer is very simple and nearly drove me mad but by sheer accident I found the solution right before I wanted to give up on the device.

When Mpc and Touch is Running go to your Desktop graphic Settings. Then change the screen arrangement. Windows by default adds a second screen on the bottom right from your mainscreen , but it must be in the top left. So just drag and move the Screen in the arrangement window, voila your mpc touch has its menu.
