Hi, when my MPC One sits idle for awhile, the meters will show audio but there's no audio. I have to reload the sequence for it to start working again. I reinstalled firmware 2.81 and it still happens. The time doesn't correspond with screen dimming. Anyone else have this problem?

All I can say is, I'm on the latest version of 2.81 on a Live 2, and it does not do that. My buddy has the MPC One, but he's away from his studio for the rest of the week so I can't ask him to confirm on his. Maybe some other One users will chime in.

That said, sounds like you might have hardware failure. Have you tried reinstalling the Factory Content image? Sometimes that fixes glitches.

I don't usually have my One idle for very long, but yesterday my daughter woke up from her nap early and I had to take care of her for about 20 minutes before I got back to it and everything was fine. How long was it idle for? I can try to recreate it on mine if you let me know.

There is a bug that I've experienced in standalone mode (both MPC and Akai Force) and controller mode, where audio just suddenly stops being emitted - meters moving, but no audio. Reboot fixes it, but I can't recreate this at will, it seems random, which makes it impossible to bug report.

Thanks y'all.

MPC-Tutor, that's exactly what my issue is, though it seems to happen when it's been idle. I'm wondering if it's a corrupt project file. I've been using one file for a project and I did accidentally turn the power off from a strip a couple times. I'm going to rebuild it. Will report on anything I find out.

As to time, I'm not sure exactly. Maybe an hour? Time enough to go mow the back yard, anyhow :)

I forgot to mention that I had already reloaded the latest firmware before my original post and was still having the problem. I loaded up a demo song today and let it idle for hours and play for hours with no problem. Looks like it's a corrupt project file.

Hi, I have the same problem with my MPC One

Today, while working with a sequence of 6 tracks, I load a TubeSynth on the seventh track, and just when i press a pad to play a melody, the sound disappears, although i can check in the meters that all the tracks continue to sound, check that nothing is muted, turn off the MPC, reload the project, and everything sounds again.

I have talked to another user who has the same issue, but he says he solves it by opening "Pad Perform"
in my case, the sound has returned after pressing Stop / Play, several times .....

Does anyone know if it is some kind of known bug?
