ah yes another question

ok i have a roland s-88 fanthom runnin midi to my mpc,so when i drop a midi track on my mpc (like strings for example) and then i wanna drop another track(melody) but when i switch the sounds on my keyboard it changes the 1st track(strings) i know midi is not audio,but why does it change the track?

(i read the manual and couldnt find anything)

You have to switch tracks on the mpc and you have to change the device field.
