Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

When i sample a loop or a kick...when i play it back i hear a slight hiss....will this hiss be there when i burn it to a cd....how do i eliminate this problem....I even have my record level on the mp turned pretty much all the way down

what are u sampling thru? like turn to mixer to mpc?

straight from the computer......straight from cd player....and straight from my handsonic....which is another drum machine by roland....any suggestions....of what i need.....i can't use a stereo mixer can i

is the hiss on everything? it might be the cables ur using or ur recording too loud causing it to clip and distort.

Are you listening to it straight out of the MPC? Cause I had the same problem and it ended up being my Mixers ground wire was loose.

Yeah better cables will help if thats the deal
