Convert Maschine Expansions to MPC

I made this nifty tool that will convert your Maschine expansion Kits into AKAI Force and MPC. Even with Color pads on the Force!



This is currently in its very fist version.
It is Free like in beer and given to AKAI community without any strings attached, but donations are appreciated.

Very simple to operate, just drag a Single Maschine Expansion Folder (again: a single installed maschine Expansion folder, it works on each expansion separately) to it, the rest should be done automatically.
Files are Signed by digicert.

hey, thanks for sending this link. I downloaded, and tried it against the stock kits that came with mk2, but no dice. I know you said it works with expansions, but i only have the stock kits, so couldn't try it out to offer feedback. thanks

Everything works as described. But why Expansion 1gb, after conversion is about 500mb?

Most likely just like kitmakers it only converts kits not massive expansion..

I have Komplete Ultimate 13 so many, many expansions to convert!

There is definitely room in the market for a full blown commercial product like this (as the MPC range expands and gets more popular) but it guess it w=would have to do 'more' that just Maschine packs (there are only so many!) and it would be great if it could convert strait to MPC Expansion Format (I wold love to see someone do this with resized picture import, audition maker etc)

Is there any possibility to load my own samples into the MPC to be visible in the Splice menu?
From my observations the samples are in pack folder as wav files, and then their copies in other directories (like notes, tags, generes). But these copies are not audio files, but the path to the wav file stored in HEX.
I have tried to create my own encoded files, but unfortunately they are not visible correctly (with playback) in MPC.
Maybe you could bite it somehow?

Could this convert Kontakt samplers as well?

Having recently and successfully converted a bunch of packs including the full Maschine library with this tool, I just want to say that this is the converter to go for if you are looking to convert Maschine content to the MPC. It’s arguably better than Kitmaker since it also includes keygroups.

Good stuff, would be good to see it work both ways, i.e. MPC to Maschine. I take it a Mac version is unlikely?

Can you make a "kitmaker" style feature so it can make drum programs from just dragging a drum folder???

Im guessing it's a recursive search for folder structure "kick, snare, hat etc"

I got it downloaded just fine, but id like to use the keygrouping feature. I donated about a week ago and didn't get an activation email. I submitted a form through the website about it that day and haven't heard back other than the auto-response that my query was received. I was hoping I could post here and Oscar would see it.
