Hi All!

I tried to write a detailed question, but at last I made a decision that I show a video about what I would do with my Live.

So this is a Digitakt: the guy just recorded loops with different length (6 sec - 30 sec), and the DT just plays them independently from each other without sequencing.

I tried do this with Program editing with Trim function, but I couldn't set it. When I pushed the pad, the repeat was totally okay, but when I let off the pads, the loop just stopped immediately.

Do you have any tutorial or how-to for this?

Thanks :)

Im really wanting to do this in the main sequencer mode and not clips mode as you cant finger drum there, i want to be able to latch hold/loop a sample while playing my drums, can do this on 2500, digitakt any roland sampler but nukais still havent fixed this ommision, been asking for 5yrs now. there is a slugish work around but still no good to use while drumming

Hi Everybody, I'm new here,

I have been reading this forum for a while since I am about to take the jump and buy a Live, BUT..

Is this still the case, even with 2.8?
No way to latch the pad loop function in drum programs?

As I haven't the Live yet I can't try the workaround I saw on a Tubedigga video (changing track before releasing pad), is it still "working" ?

On a side note, if clips are the only solution, (I know I should RTFM, and I will), can we have different layers in a clip (I guess not), can we change the end or start point of the loop while it is playing?
I'd like to experiment with live phase music, sort of, recording something and having two slightly different versions of it looping and slowly going out of phase with each other. Any way to do that?

A good day to everybody!
