Hi guys

Can anybody tell me how to disable automation recording by default? Since i never ever want to use the automation feature inside my MP, I want to disable it permanently, if possible. Because everytime I open a new project or load a saved project, this goddamn automation Icon is on green and then it happens often that I record i.e. track mute/solo etc. Its sooooooo annoying, please help me out!

Thanks in advance!!

Green = automation rec. disabled + Read mode
Red = automation rec. enabled.

So if you never make it go red it will never read any automation changes..

Go to preferences and turn record track mute/solo to "off".

In 2.8.1....they removed the "Clear" Option on the Automation tab. Now its either Green Or Red.

I going to assume that the Clear Option is Redundant. Bcz if there's no Automation Recorded, it can be on Red or Clear. Someone probably complained that they cant get it to record automation lol. While it was on Clear

:WTF: :Sigh: The hell :lol:

Oh so now Akai listens? :WTF:

Ask for PDC and watch what happens,
Ask for less bugs,
Ask for disk streaming and see what happens.

NOTHING!

:lol:
If someone complained about that they need their ass whooped! Akai is becoming weird by the minute.

As already pointed out - it can't record automation if green..

So if you start new projects by opening default projects that you have created, you can check to see what sort of settings it has been saved with.. Maybe it's possible to save a project with automation set to red, so that's the default you start with.. If so, you can easily just turn it off and save it again as the new default.
