Akai Pro Account Update

Akai Pro has updated the layout of the Account Page. The good news is, they now offer a direct download of the factory content for your current MPC. Great for those who deleted it, the factory content and need to reinstall, because they're experiences issues.

Great news but I don't get the FACTORY CONTENT item in my list.
Maybe you requested the factory content before?

No, I never requested the factory content. Perhaps it's an MPC ONE thing, which MPC do you have?

Nothing in there for me (MPC Live, Akai Force).

Is your InMusic Profile updated with the new look and layout?

Yes, and better for it. The downloads section was a real mess before, especially with several registered products

My mpc one has the content download tab as well.

Yep, sold my Renaissance years ago and contacted them to transfer the license etc, but it's still there in my account. I assume the new owner didn't have any issues though, never heard from him again.

The Studio Black I bought off eBay last year is the same. I actually registered it using the picture of the serial the guy posted on eBay before I even received it. It registered to me, gave me the MPC software right away, maybe 5 days later the Studio actually showed up. Im assuming the original owner still has it registered too. Eliza on the old forums used to tell users it was a 'rolling registration'. Basically buy it once, and get all the software forever regardless of how many other people registered that number. Im guessing they dont make alot of money off the MPC Software they dont care about it heh.


Mines updated too but I dont have a 'Factory Content' listing on mine for the Live. I wish they would stop labelling the Network MIDI driver as *NEW* because its the same one they released on day 1. I keep getting excited thinking they've updated it for the new MacOS coming out but nope, still 1.4.1 that doesn't work.
