Hi to all,

When I slice a sample to get some loops in it, I would like to join the slice I've want so I will end with just one sample containing the slices.
Is it possible to join slices ?
Thanks
Cheers

export the slices to a new program, then record a sequence how you'd like the slices joined together. Then export that loop as a audio file and you can place it under a pad.

Thks bees80 .. It's a good workaround , I'll use it :) I'm afraid it will loose my slices marker whent exporting to a new audio file.

What I was doing was quite working :

- Chop your big sample in CHOP mode...
- go back to TRIM mode : manually jog dial the slice(s) you want to delete : Use the PROCESS - DELETE functions, it should delete the unwanted slice(s) and shorten your sample . The point is you have to be in TRIM mode and manually select all slices that you want to delete.

But the bees80 tip can be very quick and also, can be the opportunity to add FX and dynamics to the program before exporting the new sliced/joined phrase ---> good )

This was something i've checked, but when you want to make a program using slice, it will contain empty parts no ?

I have to double check it but I mean that when you use the Delete function on a precise slice in trim mode it glue the remaining parts of the sample and let no silence nor silence data... So you keep your "good" slices in a "joined sample" and just have to assign them on a new program .

Not for me or we have a different way to do it

[Edit]
Just tested, only silence is available in process menu. It will let a blank slice in the big sample. Am I wrong ?
