Hey all, good you’re all doing well and keeping safe. I was wondering if someone could help me please?

I’m using MPC Live in standalone mode with the most recent update and I’m trying to use MIDI learn to control some hardware synths via CC numbers. I’ve got a Novation Launchpad Mini Mk 3 set up and my Minilogue playing a sequence on track 1 on the MPC. I’ve managed to use MIDI learn so that the launchpad controls the cutoff frequency of the Minilogue. So far so good, but if I turn the data wheel and move off of track 1 say onto track 2 the movements on the launchpad no longer have any effect on the Minilogue’s cutoff frequency.

Am I just missing something? Ideally I’d like to be able to control a few different synths from the Launchpad at the same time but at the minute I only seem to be able to control the synth whose track I’ve currently selected.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks

You could use MIDI channels to achieve that, although I am not sure whether Launchpad allows usage of mixed MIDI channels...

I tried this yesterday, had the Launchpad setup to send the relevant CC number to the relevant Midi Channel circumventing the MPC MIDI learn but it still would only let me control the synth whose track I had selected. There must be a way to do it I just can’t think of it
