De-esser plugin in standalone?

Do we have a de-esser plugin available in standalone mode?

there is no dedicated deesser, but you can easylee build a deesser with the build in filter and the sidechain compressor. Duplicate the vocal track, isolate the harsh frequencies with a narrow filter and use the isolated frequency track as a sidechain compressor trigger on your vocal track..

(Maybe you can also use this in a send channel and trigger the compressor on the channel you have send it from, so you don’t have to duplicate the vocal track, but sometimes the mother ducker on a send channel behaves weird on my mpc..)

I'll check that out. Can that be loaded into an already existing project or do I have to load your template as my starting point?

There are some instructions that YA provides to load into an existing project. If I remember correctly... where you may run into issues is if you are using sub mixes, as YA's solution relies quite heavily on the sub mixes.

Yep you can do both

No issues at all with submixes..Template only occupies 1 submix..All other submixes can be used normally..
The frequency control you get from your mixes is outstanding

The most valuable tip i can give you working with my template is simply “Do not change the settings..”
It’s something i’m mentioning inside the instruction manual but seen some of the users bypassing this..
If something doesn’t feels right with your sound you definitely have to go back and work your mix.Sound Designing your sounds is the ultimate technique for that glorious sound!You have total control for every sound.
Basically it’s a “set it and forget it..” template that’s the beauty of it

Haven't had a chance to use it yet but it's loaded up in the MPC. Once I get some time to focus in I'll be loading it up!
