Syncing Live and MPC one with ONE control for transport

Hi!
Could anyyyone tell me whether there is any chance to make ableton Live play when syncing over link and pressing play on the mpc or if no then maybe start ableton and the mpc will start as well.
Link syncs awesome but with the need to start / stop each of them it is a nightmare really.

I don’t believe Link sends start/stop messages like Midi. It’s designed so that any device syncing to a Link network can start or stop independently of everything else. If you specifically want start / stop you will have to use Midi.

Once you’re on the same Link network and manually start playback everything should be in sync.

Link v3 does support start/stop messages

Same question here... why does the start / stop function with Ableton Link only work in "Live Control" mode but not in normal "Main / Track" mode?
