Unable to Record from Controller Mode MPC Live II

Hey Gang,

I am working through the MPC BIble and hit a snag on the Controller Mode chapter.

Right now I am using the hardware to control the Hybrid plugin with an Arp setting and the ability to record just stopped working.

I can play the sound fine on the hardware. If I mouse click on the screen it lights up and the hardware pad lights up too. But if I try to record it everything seems normal but the notes are not recorded.

Why does this happen? It is such a head wringer.

If I hit Retrospective Record on the software, what I just played comes up and that is a workaround for now, but I can't understand why it won't record in a straightforward manner.

Hi, I had the same problem. But the solution is simple.
On the MPC live itself, you have to hit the big red record button on the TRACK.
