Pad mute not available for audio track for mpc live 2

I am able to do track mute for my midi tracks i recorded on my mpc live 2. But I recently connected my electric guitar to the mpc live 2 and recorded as a audio track. When I try doing Pad mute for the audio it says “pad mute not available for audio track”.

Is there a configuration change to get around this error or I just can’t do it? I know I can mute the audio tracks by going to Track View as the last option. But it seems kind of silly that it’s not a available when I clearly see the tracks I created in the background.
