Click Signal for live

hallo Guys
I have a problem, please help me find a solution. I need to send a CLICK signal from the MPC ONE into my drummer's headphones. just the click. How can I do? Obviously the two main outputs of the mpc one go into the mixer, I tried to get the click signal out of the phones out only, but nothing, it is not possible. Some advice?

Hello It's impossible !! That's why the Live or X is lot better ! The only think you can do is output your tracks on a single channel (Left , output 1) and the click sound output on the other channel (right, output 2) ( from a separate track and program , not from the metronome settings)

So you loose the stereo and get a mono output for the click

Probably a crazy thought... but you've got CV outs... you might be able to use that to generate a click, though signal will be hot as hell... maybe try it on some crap speakers first...

I've tried it before, with no positive results. maybe with the midi? when i decided the mpc one over the Live i didn't believe that the separate outs could become so useful

if you use the CV/Gate(!) outs as a click, you'll need a DC coupled soundcard / amplifier and attenuator

I'll make it simpler, I switch to LIVE, would you be able to confirm me if with the live (having more outputs) I can route the metronome on one of these?

You cannot route a metronome, but the solution is to just setup a track called metronome, a program called metronome, and then draw your clicks out as you see fit.

on the mpc one or live? on the mpc one i can choose the outputs for the metronome, and it's the same software. But in the mpc one i can't assign other outputs because there aren't, but in the mpc live yes.

Sorry, I misspoke, you can route the Metronome to other outputs... I just checked... I was probably thinking of older MPCs

A crappy router (for wifi) plus a used iphone 5s with Link will be cheaper than the Live
