I admit it’s a bit of a mid life crisis machine, but I preordered anyway. Time to make the switch from the 2kXL for me...

definitely one to entice the more mature mpc crowd over to a new machine. I like it

If the colour of an mpc is so important to you that you won't buy I'm doubting your that mature.

Actually, visual aesthetics is very important to us mature folk

If they had the hard plastic buttons id be more stoked but i do like that the record button is red. I would much rather a grey mpc than a black one due to dust but one can always buy a skin that's looks basically exactly like this one off mpcstuff

It seems Akai sorta jumped on there idea.

Still dig it though. I like my mpcx but i do wish it wasnt so big at times.
Like if the mpc live had 4 inputs instead of all the outputs i would like it alot more and purchase it asap.
I just hated always going to the menu screen to get anywhere. Really miss that portability though.
