Yeah what you're saying should of been done already.

Xpand 2, and Hybrid at the very least should of been put in the hardware. They both have hella sounds that would keep ine happy. But don't know how much of a strain it would of been on the Ram. I use and have all the Air synths on my main an lappy. :smoker:

The transformation of the iconic MPC platform to an EDM, loop-based, clip-launching, Splice-fueled platform is almost complete. Andy Mac will have his way yet. They need to just change the name to make the transformation complete. This is now the ED-MPC.

Andy Mac is probably looking and angry  as f*** at Eyalc saying that lol  But what E said is true.
I do RnB, Pop , Dance Hall, Trap, Boom Bap and Orchestral music l would like to get something geared towards those genres instead of guys testing out gear using EDM music. Curtis King put me on to something just for that. Everything aint EDM.

Why is everybody complaining? A drumsynth is awesome. Pitching down sampled drums is completely messing up the transients if the drums which isn't the case for synthesized sounds.

I am surprised you can tune the drum synth, because you can't tune any of the other plugins... you got an odd sample and you want to tune everything to that sample, forget about it... as it stands you either tune everything to the plug in instruments, you don't use the plug in instruments, you resample the plug in instrument and pitch shift it, or LOL..... you try to use the pitch shifting effect on the plug in which sounds terrible hahahaha.

Let them complain just like you have the right to not complain. It may be very legit. People are looking for stuff that may be more helpful than this update.

Pitching down drums is messing up the transients? Could you expain how? Plus why are you pitching down drums? Pitch down or up a sample yeah but drums? Why? Im able to lay one drum kick at middle C on my keyboard and they all sound fine until its to high or low.

I don't understand all the hatred
The drumsynth is fantastic :worthy: it covers a wide range of sounds with all their different engines.
You can do some micro tonic like sounds but also some 808 type sounds. And try some automation with it.

I m using my live as a standalone unit. it powers my bass station which I use for sounds, filtering and as a Midicontroller.

I never had any issue with the pitch shifting effect. The key is selecting the proper mode for the particular sound. But again it really comes down to the person, knowing what key the song is in and selecting the instruments that sound good in that range.

I agree, the key to the Drum Synth is knowing how to use it and what to use it with. They need to fix the FX and Send screen for Drum Synth. When using Drum Synth Multi, the Qlink selection doesn't go pass the fourth drum. Perhaps using the - and + to go all the way across. It works in the mixer because two channels are selected at once.

(EDIT)
Here is a screen shot of those pages. The QLINK group outline will not go pass the second hi hat. I've tried different ways but with no luck. Perhaps someone else figured it out, using the LIVE or One?
