The point is you can't tell which MPC it comes from. But as you already know, the MPC 3000 is not coveted for it's rudimentary sampler. It's was all about the Midi functions and most importantly sequencers.

That "which one sounds better" test  I forget what I said, but I'm pretty sure I started off with the "it all sounds about the same to me"...

16-bit samplers with 44.1khz sample rate, playing content back without pitching/stretching all sound pretty bog standard. I'm still pretty sure most of what people are hearing for differences even in the analogue space tend to be due to over driving ins/outs... subtle compression... psychoacoustics... I'm not going to rule out poor DACs or other weird implementation choices...

Folks are gonna like what they like... hate what they hate... and do as they do :D

I agree that just playing back the sample at 16 bits with out any interference with the process its hard to tell the difference sometimes. But thats not really how we use samplers if we care about the art form.We push them and find there sweet spots. When we do this we find that they can have there quirks.500,1000,2500 And 5000 all have slightly different nuances.I just sold a 2500 SE that next to my 4000 was very different.I liked them both but the 4000 was just obviously more dynamic.Actually so different.BUT-i kinda miss the 2500 now.I dont miss the Live or X at all.Anyway got the SW so.....

Rudimentary maybe but is highly respected for its sound....

Def trolling

Even then you can't tell in blind test, where it comes from. Also I'm not trolling the MPC 3000 sampler is basic, that's why they made the rack mount sampler to pair with the machine.

I dont care.......its about my user experience and the results are in.Thet have there quirks. They have there differences when USED.When pushed.......You sound like a bot hahahaa

No... it's respected for it's timing.

If there was a true difference, then it would be easy to tell which machine the sample came from. This so called magical difference is all in your head aka psychological. But hey.... if you think there is a major difference then that's all that matter for yourself.

Nobodies talking about magical differences, magical swing ectect.Just some Subtle (?) different nuances.Gear made with different components at different times of varying qualities by different people.Get over it //

Last example-if someone samples and mixes a track on MPC3000 will come with a different sonic imprint than someone on an MPC500 or One.The Live/X and One are very clean and clear.Like computer recording.Neutral.Thats why they build in MPC3000 legacy plug in modes Ect.Duh :WTF:

Yes, the imprint will have some differences but in a blind test, would you be able to tell that it was mixed on a MPC 3000, 2000, 4000, MPC X, or MPC 500? No you wouldn't, that why you avoid answering my question about which MPC was that Drum Loop made on.

My guess is the one but that's purely based on nothing lol.

Good guess but it's not the MPC ONE. Is it just me or does this happen with every MPC. When the 4K came out all I heard was it's too clean. Now, people call it warm. When the 2000 came, it was brittle and thin, now it's fat, punchy, and warm.

When the SP1200 came out, people were like sequencer is too perfect. Now, people are like I love how off the SP1200 sequence is, it gives it that human feel.

Guys Guys Guys....

It shouldn't matter what it sounds like when recorded Raw. I Process the Master Track slightly depending on Audio anyway. Slight EQ...Little Compression....Levels.

If I like a Warm Analog Hard Hittin Type Sound...I can process the Master Out to Emulate ANY Machine!

Hold on one second.. so you're telling me. That people don't just mix in the MPC and release just like that. Are you saying I just can't use the same machine that Pete Rock or Daft Punk has and get that same sound.

Dude......you butted in to a convo with Cases and me.Then/now your setting your own parameters of what i meant.Your manipulating the narrative to suit yourself.Whay i said and meant is of course correct. There a nuances to different machines even if you cant or/and dont want to hear them.End of......

Btw-i did not listen to your wack recording..............
