Reinstall Factory Content

I understand but you have to take that up with the Owner. Because I'm sure he's had contact with Akai Pro about sharing unauthorized content. Again, it's best to do that in private.

I have a copy of the file if anyone else needs to reinstall the factory content on their MPCs. Just PM me and I’ll give it to you.

hi guys hi have same issue with my mpc x, have a file on pendrive but is normal for the screen to be upside down while installing the content factory ?

Not normal. Doubt that reinstallation’s going to fix anything regarding the screen.

I am trying to restore factory content on my second-hand MPC one , I have downloaded the zip file and unzipped it to a formatted 16gb thumb drive , I've put it in and switched my machine off and on again , but I get this error failed to find the internal content drive " any help would be greatly appreciated

1. Are you using the USB software "eject" function on your computer's OS before removing the USB stick? If not, you've likely corrupted your USB stick. Reformat it and try again. Make sure you always software eject the stick before removing it. 2. You don't just switch your MPC on and off again; you have to go into the Settings (gear icon from main page), and while under "info", hold down your shift key to update. 3. Did you copy your MPC One factory content file into the root directory of your USB stick? 4. Did you download your MPC One factory content file from your Akai account? The one that was in this thread is for the OG MPC Live...

I have tried to use the one for the live that had a link posted in this thread , any idea where i can find the restore for the "one" the restore image for the live is way too big to fit onto the ones internal drive , thanks , as i said any help would be greatly appreciated as AKAI do not respond to my product support emails , I have sent 5 different requests for this file

(2.5. Register your unit.)
3. Under One‘s „Software downloads“ you‘ll find a download for „FACTORY CONTENT“ (all capitals).

thanks , but that is not the download I'm looking for , that is just the expansion packs and demos , I need the restore disk image that has an autorun so it can re-flash the internal drive , I already have the expansions on an SD card, I need the restore image to bring back my title screen and my recent projects and templates , just like it was from new , the previous owner had deleted this and its messed up my MPC one

They "deleted your account for some reason"? Create a new one, register your new Akai MPC Live 2, and contact tech support for the file. Strangely enough, the restoration file I have is the original Live, even though I have since sold that one and picked up the Live 2.
