This is a public forums, if you want to have a private conversation then DM each other. But can you tell me which MPC was used for the drums. It's not the 500 or MPC One.

No worries here's the wack recording again. I really curious to know which MPC you think it is.

If you listened you would know it's just a drumloop with some drummachine sounds he made.

The only two I'd doubt it was made on is the 60/60ii, lacking a bit of the grit you often hear from those. Other than that hard to say.

You can load up those Casio samples or whatever they are from on any of them and I'm pretty sure it'd all sound about the same.

It could be a MPC 60/60 MK2, if the machine was recapped. But no it's the those or Casio.

He doesn't want to answer it, because it would refute his/her myth. Unfortunately, this is one reason many people's music never improve. They think know everything and they're not open to other possibilities. The truth is if he/she was really about this MPC LIFE. They would've snatched those drums, chopped them up, tweaked them, and made a dope track from them.

I know I chopped and layered some of NEAR TAO sounds.

I probably wouldn't even be able to identify it if you know what you're doing

Well i guess that HE is ME lol......Your very presumptive Randy.......to think i care that much about the MPC life  Its a box that does a job pretty well simply.Thats all.And theres a few flavours. And the way you use it is certainly not the way i do.You dont push it you just play something out of it.How the fuk and why would i care what it is your doing.I just here a lame neutral Randolph beat.Get a life........

Anyway i think this lil vid shows the character of the 1000 very well.I dont expect Randy to hear anything tho,all sounds the same to him but anyways-

You should put that anger toward your music. As far as Ricky Tinez he's a good guy. I've never seen that video before, time to chop that and slow drift. Thank you!

Isn't that's always the goal!

The big point you tryhards are all missing is that it isn't about the outcome alone.. it's the time you spend working on those samples, sounds and machines that matters. The "character" leads you to something.. use of FX over those sounds and stuff, is where the character has its value. I like flat because it obviously provides the most options. Whatever comes out might be far from that "character" but it doesnt matter anymore at this point, it already provided it's value.

Posting casio loops here is just a joke I hope... not sure what the achievement was here... obviously this is jot making sense to the point we were talking about.

Well they're not Casio loop  but even if it were, it's up the person to make them work.

It added enough for you to comment about it. :smoker: But lets not take into account that this post was in 2017, when the latency of the MPC X was horrible. Well until the machine is on for a long period of time or the off the shelf drivers freeze up when in controller mode.
