Shame it doesn't have 8 SSL SuperAnalogue channels. Then I would use it for group/summing mixer.

Because i keep the fireface ins for other purposes, to plug my other synths, my Dj decks ...
And for a live situation the summing of the SSL is much accurate than the Mpc X summing ( to my ears ).

Fireface = Studio sessions / SSL 6 = Live gigs.

Exactly, the summing of the 6 is just amazing really, it has punch, the overall sound is so clear & the master out compressor does a perfect job.
The SSL 6 really has this little something to the sound.
& the X has 8 outs, so why not use them ?

I don't patch my live performances rig into my studio chain. I like to keep those worlds completely separated. Because as much as I baby my gear, live rigs just take so much abuse. However it does have a nice sound on drums and you can use the MPC's EQ effect on each output channel.
