We're not hearing any of that backseat stuff.

Cool...are you using the inbuilt synths?

yes, especially Tubesynth!
but i also sampled some patches on my modular rig, autosampler makes the creation of keygroups from external synths very easy, and has the advantage that you can play polyphonically a monophonic synth :)
the wavetable synth sound on track 2 is a patch i created on the er-301 sound computer, then autosampled it and played it on the mpc. the bass and main synth on the title track (Track 3) is totally Tubesynth in all its nasty glory!
the synths on track 4 (the one in the video) are all modular synth, that is the only track i didn't do in the mpc. jammed on the eurorack and recorded it straight to stereo.

i'm not a super fan of Bassline, but its cool to have. Electric is wonderful, i like the physical modeling approach. and i like the new drum synths as well, except that they are poorly implemented in terms of how and where you can load them, no choke on Drum Multi, no extra effects on drum multi etc...

Some great tracks there. The industrial/world sound is quite evocative. You're definitely doing some interesting stuff on modular too. Keep up the good work!

FWIW I tend to release music as a way to draw a line under tracks that I've been working on.

I use it as a way to stop the endless tinkering and 'perfecting'.

I find that by doing this, I get rid of some of the 'baggage' and can move on to new music guilt free.

As I've always been pretty prolific, I've tried to reign myself in a bit recently, and work on tracks in groups - one group is to be mixed, another is jusy sketches to flesh out, an other is for finishing touches etc. This way I still have the same amount of tracks, but they're all progressing at a simial rate. I plan to focus even more on this way of working next year as well as getting rid of tracks earlier in the process, instead of trying to make them work, if they're not quite right

And then the goal is to put out another in summer. Really mostly excited about being able to have shows in 2021. Not sure when thats going to be allowed and if people will even show up

And Just dropped a video over the weekend to close out 2020

I didn't know you were getting down like this. I'm not really surprised though you've always posted solid entries in the beat battles. Nice work. That guts and glory track is dope too. :worthy: Apathy is one of my favorites.

Thanks mate, appreciate it! lately i've been working also on some beats (didn't do in a long time, feels good to go back to it!) here an example with some crappy scratch routine practice (just got me a numark pt01 scratch and practicing a bit of turntablism after something like 15 years lolz, pretty shitty right now but slowly getting better eheheh)

p.s.: no bandcamp embed on the mpc-forums?
