Hey all just got an MPC One a week ago and confused a bit on Q-Link defaults. What I gathered is Q-link groups the four knobs in that highlighted yellow bracket on most screens have it be parameters, effects etc... with each knob corresponding to something on the screen. Well, one of my projects the yellow highlighted group vanished on me. On the main screen or really any screen if I touch the knobs its just Pan and volume for selected pad, but no change when switch between banks. I've scoured the internet and manual looking for something similar and found that these things happen when theres a short in power? I couldn't find anything pertaining to this Q-link yellow bracket in the manual. A power short could have happened but I was wondering if there is a way to get it back on the project I have. I saved it w/o those defaults so will I have to build it back up from scratch? Would loading my project's seqeunces and programs manually into an empty project with those Q-link defaults be the best way? Still grasping q-link features with this software so still learning as I go.

I figured it out I wasn't in SCREEN mode duh lol :Sigh: Knew it was right in front of my face. In Q-link mode had SCREEN tab on, but nothing was showing up in main window. Holding Q-link button down shows all those parameters and had to press "Show Q-links status when touched" to get it to display again.

Kong-grats, you‘ve just saved my life...I really didn’t come to the thought, press/hold the Q-Link button would give me this beautiful overview...oh boy...thanks a ton for the post! ❤️

That overlay needs an opacity/transparency setting. Great otherwise.

Agreed, that's my main gripe with it also, it's a super useful feature but it annoys the hell out of me when sample editing.. transparency would make life much easier
