Question on the 8-Out mod

Hi,

I've been using the MPC 2000xl for a while for recording purposes but I now want to use it live - so I intend to get the 8-Out module for mixing purposes.

My question is whether I can install it myself or if it would be a better idea to have the dealer do it? How much technical expertise do I need to install it myself?

If I remember correctly (it's been awhile), you have to mount the module with screws / metal standoffs to the mainboard and just plug in the cable to the correct port (next to the floppy port). If you are good with a screw driver... you can install it yourself.
