thanks for the encouragement, gotta work hard on it, of course i'm not gonna go to battles or stuff, but it's nice to get back to a technique that's so differently creative, so inherently immediate and sharp

I have a bunch of tracks ready to be released. But honestly, i was never really bothered about releasing. Creating and releasing stuff are two totally different things to me, with different goals and meaning.

That said, i've sent some tracks around to people and i am working on a solo EP. No idea what it's gonna be yet, but as time unravels .. * some more deep mysterious quoting BS*

Yes, but I prefer to have a different mix all together.

Low end control, tame the highs, no stereo bass sounds, etc. It really all depends on the person mixing style.

Life is never comfortable, it's and it's always flux. I control what I can control and keep it moving. Pretty much everyone on here has a studio full of gear and sounds, which we bought it to make and release music. 2020 is over and the new year cometh, I'm not hearing any excuses, from anyone with a room full of gear and hard drive full of music.

If a person wants to watch youtube beat videos be my guess. If they want to debate on twitter over who's the best, be my guess. If they want to sit and talk about glitches and bugs, be my guess. But none of that is going to get our music off the hard drive and into a place where people can hear it.

Unless that is part of one continuous learning process.

There are so many things in life we have zero control over. Music is one of the few things I do have control over. Got an MPC, records, DAW and a online distributor. Only thing I have to do is just do it.

Covid impacted my life hard on multiple levels. But always in times of crisis I focus more on small things on which I still have somewhat control. And that’s making music.
