Hi,
as the MPC Ones Midi Clock is as unprecise as it gets I am utilizing another clock source.
Now I would like the stable clock to get into the mpc and being sent through to all other connected equipment.
Hoecer I also want to use a constant gat out of one of the cv outs of the mpc to send a gate to keep the clock going. Now if I am doing i that way I am creating kind of a loop.
Is there any way to make the mpc sync to the clock but not to the trnasport bytes and also can I through the clock received or does the mpc send its own clock out?
There are possible workarounds (starting the system from my modular where the clock sits or using a midi processor but if it was possible to do that on the MPC it would be way more convenient.
Thanks for helping

What are you using for master midi at this point? It reads like your sending CV clock and want to Put that clock back in to your modular.

Yes and no.
My clock generator needs some form of start stop command which I can send using a repeating 1bar note as gate out. As long as tve output is high the clock plays once it is off it stops. I can pull a midi clock off this clock generator which is extremely stable and would like to feed this into my mpc's midi in, sync the mpc to it and send it to all other devices through the mpc.
I could use start / stop on the module but using tve mpc would be more convenient and routing tve clock through the mpc would allow to have tve clock on all other devices and still be able to send other midi data (for example program changes to my a4).
Now starting the clock with tve gste signal starts the clock which sends out midi clock including a startbyte which, when seen by tve mpc makes tve mpc jump to start, stop playing the gate for a bit and so stopping tve clock. I have a midiprocessor which would allow to filter the start / stop bytes.
Just built tve breakout module for the clock generator yesterday. Have to experiment a bit

It actually does and I am doing it right now. Note that it is active track but I am sending midi via midi in on MPC from Logic and it passes it to my synth no problem
