Is there a way to edit length of the sample in the Grid? Only way I found is shortening the release in ADSR.

Standalone (no software)

Highlight the block in GRID.

Look at the bottom screen menu. Choose what you wanna do with that highlighted grid block.

well, yes and no. i mean: you can edit end of the MIDI NOTE but that doesn't always mean you are editing the end of the sample. If the sample is in one shot mode, you can shorten or lenghten it thousand times, it will never do anything. for it to have effect you have to switch the pad to NOTE ON mode, then carefully set your ADSR envelope (not the simple AD one), with at least SOME sustain and not too long release. this way the lenghtening or shortening of the midi note in the grid edit view will affect the actual length of the sample you hear.

@Bobby - maybe describe a bit more what sound(s) you are working with and what you are trying to do? There's a lot of ways to approach this, and techniques will vary depending on the sound, how you want the pads to react, etc...
