That's just showing that your computer can see the drive, not what the format is...

I should ask... are you using controller mode and it is not showing up (not supported on the MPC One... ugh)... or are you in standalone mode and it does not show up?

i only have the power supply on, i think im on standalone, yeah, it dosent show up

No. Your MPC One will read it. Just format it.

sorry this seems like a dumb question, but how do i format it? do i just out it in the sd slot?

how do i change modes?
