Just upgraded to v1.70. It seems stable enough, but responsiveness to button presses / cursor movement, and screen redraw in general in program edit mode is less than satisfactory - in some cases, several seconds to move from one field to another. I've plenty of spare resource capacity (CPU / memory etc). This incidentally only happens when the sampler is in playback - stop playback, and responsiveness is fine. I generally use the MPC4000 as a sampler, with ProTools performing all sequencing. However, I find that I'm constantly stopping and starting playback to adjust program parameters. This is so unacceptable for me that I've reverted to v1.60. I've seen some mention of similar problems on the forum, but I can't believe it's restricted to only a few users? Anyone else experiencing this?
