I didn't read the manual b/c I was sure there was a way to do this.
I honestly don't understand how akai has given us synth plugins, AIR FX collection, Ableton export & control but there is no simple way to save an internal FX chain.

It's such a simple process in ABLETON with the audio effect racks.
It involves minimal coding / processor / RAM but would be a such a critical update.

I always read manuals for my gear. I buy gear, check manuals cause I wanna know.
Read the X manual twice before it ever arrived.

Remember all of it, nope, got it on ipad and skim through it often.

I feel like 87% of Youtube muhfuccas....
1. Just like to hear themselves talk.
2. Don’t know how to even halfway effectively communicate.
3. Leave more questions than they answer.
4. Misinform with their own ideas instead of actually giving str8 facts.
5. Wanna shout their subscribe buttons for 1-2 minutes before they even begin to address the subject.
6. Have annoying ass speech impediments.

Other hand, PROPS to Youtubers that actually present, inform and instruct well, BRAVO!

Just diving the flowers in though, it’s fun.

Hey Guys, Today we're going to show you have to turn on the MPC X.
But first don't forget to subscribe, like, share, hit the bell, turn around 10 times.

(45 second Intro)

Okay here is how you turn on the MPC X but first check out this ad from our sponsor.

(2 Minute Ad)

Welcome back, now to turn on MPC X. You know I remember way back in like 2019 when
I just learning how to use, the legendary vintage classic game changing MPC TOUCH. You
know the MPC TOUCH was really ground breaking, it was one of the first MPC 's to only
use a computer. When I bought it I thought it was the most powerful MPC EVER! I used it
to make so many Sample packs.

By the way, if you need samples, head over to my website and download the free sample
pack. All you have to do is subscribe, like, share, hit the bell, follow my twitter, instagram,
tik tok, and facebook.

7. Endlessly rambling on, same point, for minutes and minutes, rephrasing, twisting the same words, king kong chest beating, being a used car salesman, and sometimes the point you were trying to make is incorrect anyway.

Peace fellaz, I'm considering purchasing an MPC One. I'm coming from a long line of MPCs. Currently using the 1000. Does the One have 'input through'...so you can audition the input(sample mode) while your beat is playing? Also can you apply effects while you're sampling or in 'through mode'? These are my favorite features of the 1000 along with applying effects to the master out. Sometimes I just use the 1000 as an effects unit for my DJ mixer when I'm cuttin it up. If the One accommodates these features then I'm gonna make the transition. Any info will be appreciated

I'd say it's a design oversight. I too was confused by the 4 FX sends on the side, even when in "all" mode didn't work like that. I'd much rather have the 4 sends be a master program level, than per pad, but I'm sure there are hundreds of other people that love how it functions now! Oh, I don't envy anyone at Akai.

It is definitely an awkward design choice... because as a user it's not immediately obvious from the MAIN view if the insert fx are for the program, the track, or the sequence... and while I get the model of going to the Mixer for it... it's still an odd place to put the menu.

Certainly would make more sense to at least (also) have insert fx off of the Master tab... even a sub menu/bullet. Ah well.

Let’s say I am working with “Drum Program 1” on multiple tracks in the same Sequence, like Kick on Track 3 and Snares on Track 4, how do I put insets on the individual track, and not the program?

If i add a AIR Distortion to Track 3/Drum Program 1, it also adds it to Track 4/Drum Program 1.

Is it my workflow, or is there a mix channel I should be using? :smoker:
