MPC live to Force workflow

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone of you is on both systems and has figured out a workflow to make them work together.E.g. create loops on the MPC and then transfer to Force to finish the song

I went from a MPC Live to an Akai Force. I placed the hard drive that was in my Live into the Force. I was surprised to discover that I had to record everything all over again again including loops. So, I don't think it's possible.

I've been toying with this also. I have a LIVE and a FORCE. I've been able to bring projects over but it doesn't see the midi note info on the tracks. It did bring over the tracks and instrument plugins. What I ended up with is a row of blank tracks with the effects assigned to them. The samples were in the projects folder and I was able to load them up into the clip slots but it wasn't seamless. I've solved my transition by grabbing a battery pack from Amazon with an adapter so now I can roll on a battery power.

I've got both of these and to be honest with you I've come to the conclusion that I just don't need one of them. There is just too much overlap in what it does. I'm leaning towards keeping the force and selling the live.
