Now the MPC software freezes on closing about 1 time out of 2... If I use Windows to force close it and restart it, some of the external MIDI/USB devices are not recognized (I have to both re-start the computer and the software for those to work again). I love the new 2.9 features but I'm starting to think this this might be the most unstable version so far (at least software-wise).

(MPC 2.9 (both software and firmware) running on Win 10. Using the MPC audio driver. Only one internal (Air) plugin in the most recent case)

Hell yes I recognize it. But that's small I'm comparison. I got at least 40 songs I did in 2.7 that crash regularly from the 2.8 update. It's all because of the integrated version of hybrid not being supported in updates. But the damn company owns hybrid. It's crazy, their tech support is horrible. My boy is the Manager for Washington music and he says that he's gotten more complaints about the lack of tech support from Akai over EVERYONE !!!! They suck for real. They aren't doing any Q&A they just release a damn update without out checking out anything. Are you using software of hardware ?

Can anyone please upload MPC Software 2.8, as that version is no longer available in the Akai Mpc Account, only 2.6 and 2.9.
In 2.8 Software once you were in controller mode you could see all the Output Ports, just like you see them in Standalone Mode. If anyone can help to downgrade the software back to 2.8 would be appreciated.

Both! Until 2.7 I used to *love* how I could seamlessly transfer all my projects from controller mode in the studio to hardware for live shows but since 2.8 it's been a bit of a mess, especially regarding MIDI ports.
