Im looking to purchase a library of different samples I can use to chop and make songs from. Ive purchased a few expansion packs from Akai but id like a larger Library of samples to work with. Is there a bundle that contains an endless supply of samples and loops to play with. Id rather buy one ultimate package instead of spending $10 here and there. What should I be looking for.

There are three main ways in which we get sounds.
Acoustic sound,
sampled sounds, and
synthesized sounds.
An
ACOUSTIC sound is a naturally occurring wave that comes from the source straight to the eardrum. These are things like clapping your hands, voices, live drums etc. , you can grab a ZOOM H2n (or whatever the current model is), and literally sample
any sounds in nature. Once they are recorded they are now a sample.
A
SAMPLED sound is a recorded sound. These are things like a song on Spotify, any records, CD's, TV, Netflix etc. are all technically samples, literally anything that is recorded.
A
SYNTHESIZED sound is where you create the sound from a wave by modifying or merging an active wave, (computerized or modeled, electronically). there are many types, the most frequently used (for ease of use and delightful results) are subtractive, Additive, frequency modulation and wave table synthesis. These are things like Analog Synthesizers, VST Plugin Synths etc.

compositions (drum loops, breaks, melodies, riffs etc) are a collection of sounds composed into a musical piece and then usually sampled.
The
"internet bundle" Lamp is referring to is the endless supply of sounds out there in the world for you to sample. You can literally sample any thing that makes a sound. Create a sound or play your own loops and breaks effectively making your own, unique, personalized, and very exclusive bundle for you to use. You can flavor the whole pack to your taste (i.e. you will use less than 50% of sounds on most packs).
You can buy ALL the sample packs in the world, but the people that put them together got those sounds from somewhere.
Save your money, make your own.
