Tempo-embedded Loops

Anyone know how to make sure loops are tempo-embedded upon import from my CPU sample library so that I can audition with Warp on effectively?

I've read that you may need to go to Sample Edit and actually input the BPM for the same to register as tempo-embedded. If that's the case, that is tedious work for a large quantity of loops.

Well your loops either have metadata in them or they dont. Or you let the MPC try to figure it out (the MPC calculates every sample as a two bar loop).
You need to add it yourself, otherwise you do it when it gets to the MPC.

So if I tag tempo via Mixed In Key, the loops should be “tempo-embedded”?

Im not sure Ive never used MIK before. The MPC is weird when it comes to metadata and all that info. Some of my files it shows up, some of them dont. I think it works best if its ACID metadata. It ultimately writes its own as well, Ive pulled samples from the MPC to edit in like Wavelab and always get error messages about damaged headers, if its a song Ive pulled from a project folder. Now that I think about it, Ill have to go take a look at my drive. Ive been tagging stuff like crazy in Audio Finder lately, but I dont know if any of that data is written to the file itself or if its just in a database on the Mac. I dont think Ive ever seen it pick up a Key from a tag before unless it was an ACID file.
