no dude audition works from hard drive but you can't stream samples in a sequence from harddrive...

teah im with you mart one im going to sell mine and get the mv8000 too

then when we get em we'll be laughin at all those people still with those ol stupid 4ks huh?? yeah iots gonna be great im mean cause we realy suck and cant make beats for shit so it must be the gear huh and if that dont make us good im sure somethin will right ?!?! come on last one with a mv8 is a rottin egg!!!! :D

I've been on the fence too about swapping my 4K for for an MV, but I'm afraid that after I do so, Akai will release a new OS with all sorts of goodies like audio tracks and more...and I would regret it!

One thing I like about the MV is the fact that is has VGA output. No need for a computer..sweeet :lol:
But I hate the fact that it only has 1 MFX...sucks big time :cry:

I guess every tool out there has its share of pros and cons.

If only Akai would update Aksys so it could include a full color Midi/Audio sequencer and editor. That would be a total DAW in my book!....and that would totally kill the MV as well once and for all! :lol:

Uh, that's pretty much what the MV has, Audio tracks, software sequencing, etc.

I still wouldn't get one, wouldn't get a 4 K either, but if I was forced, I am partial to MPC's.
