Hi!
Hoping for some help on a problem, I posted before, but the problem has become more specific following taking advice elsewhere.
Original post https://www.mpc-forums.com/search.php?author_id=105488&sr=posts but in short I wanna go electronic drumkit into MPC, and was losing MIDI data particularly on cymbals where theres one pick up and switches to determine zones, rather than multiple pickups.
I was advised to run drums into MIDIox on the computer, see what data came up, and make sure the MPC is reading that. Makes sense in principle, but in practice, way above my head at the moment.
So I've gotten a bunch of data. Played each zone of each drum, filtered out the timecode stuff etc. I am left with a whole long list of entries of the following headings:
TIMESTAMP IN PORT STATUS DATA1 DATA2 CHAN NOTE EVENT
all in hex, so looking like:
000925E0 2 -- 99 26 57 10 D 2 Note On.
So, what next? I've just gone through: https://www.mpc-tutor.com/mpc-midi-tuto ... ntrollers/ and couldn't find anything quite this specific. How to I fine tune MPC Ones MIDI input settings to make sure its reading what I need it to?
Thanks in advance for any help!
