Erase all tracks

Hello folks
Is there a way to erase all tracks of a sequence (all track data)? But not the assignments, names, programs etc. that happens with the clear sequence...

Missing that coming from the mpc 1000.

Do you just want a template, or is there a reason you want to do this frequently?

On the Live....Hit the Erase Button, then ALL. For each track of course. It should keep all your settings but erase Note/Automation data

The faster I found is to use the '"delete bars" function in sequence "pencil" edit window . you keep your tracks / names/ assignements...

it's for jamming mainly, where you add tracks and tracks and the structure is built over time. then you have a template but also all the sequencing midi data. then i would like to keep the programs all in place, but erase all that midi data.

that's an amazing trick. thanks a lot! Exactly what i want, keeping all the track programs but erase the midi data. it's also helpful when you want to copy a sequence to another one and want to play the same "instruments" but with different "rhytms and melodies".

I wish there was a faster trick to that: like erase button: erase all tracks.

for each track - if one has many - it takes forever

You're Right......20 Tracks would take me...ummmmm....bout 35 seconds.

Lol 40 beatz I want to see a (real speed) video where someone erase 16 tracks in the same sequence on a MPC , one by one ... Great fingerdrumming skills if it takes less than one minute !!

Delete Bars and copy events function are my best friends on my MPC LIVE , to keep my tracks assigned between several sequences

Not sure if the Image is showing...;but it took me 1 minute 9 seconds to erase 16 tracks of events

Lol Cheerz up to 40 beats !! nice reference chrono I will stay with my Delete bars insert bars routine ( 20 seconds) I found it because my 16 tracks erase time was waaay too long, like 2 mn 16 s

Who has got the best workaround? Delete one track after other is ok but nifty and slow , the bar delete trick is great. Any other trick?
