MIDI Clock send to Looping Device

Hi everyone, I've been using Akai Force for a few months now, and I love it.

I just bought Aeros Loop Studio (looper pedal) intending to sync up the MIDI clock from the Akai Force.

I think I've tried everything but the Aeros doesn't seem to pick up a MIDI clock signal from Force.

I did find a video of a woman doing exactly that combination (Force clock to Aeros Loop) so this proves it is possible (but she doesn't explain how).

I also found a video explaining how to MIDI clock an MPC Live to a Boss RC-505 looper so that was kind of helpful even though the MPC Live OS is slightly different from Akai Force.

I still don't get it.
What am I missing? Please help!

Go into your sync options and make sure clock send is turned on.

UPDATE: I tested a MIDI sync from Logic Pro to my Aeros Looper (first time trying such a thing) and it worked like a charm. SO this rules out the possibility of my looper being defective in regards to receiving a MIDI clock.
Still no such luck from the Akai Force, though.

I've made sure "Sync Send" is set to "MIDI Clock".
I've also turned off "Sync Receive" -- and it appears that the "Sync" option on the Main Menu actually refers to "Sync Receive" so that's Off too.
I've tried various different configurations of these settings and haven't found any luck yet.

I know this sounds dumb but Have you pressed play? Pretty sure the force is like the Mpc and only transmit when the sequence is running.

LOL definitely tried pressing Play.

I've tried stopping and Playing in every MIDI configuration I can think of, and I even give it a measure or two just to be safe. No response from the Looper!

Yet with Logic Pro I managed to make it happen quickly! Pressing play with Logic made the looper start and stop easily.

Do you have a midi track setup? You may need one on the force.

yeah I've been testing it with a basic beat.. there must be some little thing I haven't noticed.
I might start to test it by sending Akai Force MIDI clock to some other device and see if it works (since I successfully got my looper to accept the MIDI clock from Logic)

A basic beat isn’t a midi track. Hook up the force to logic and see if you can get midi going in. You will need to load a track like you control a synth.

Solved!

After many months of struggling with MIDI syncing (tempo sync) with a Looping device, I finally got it sorted out.
The included MIDI adapters (1/8" to 5-pin) were apparently faulty after-market pieces. (I originally bought my first Force refurbished on Amazon so apparently they sent me the bad cables).
As soon as I bought good MIDI adapters, everything was good to go.

Now I am currently syncing Akai Force with a Headrush Looperboard and it is a very powerful combination!
