Hi All,
I am trying to implement this modification on my MPC Live:
https://github.com/TheKikGen/MPC-LiveXp ... ode-how-to
I have hit a problem while following the procedure. Maybe someone who is more code savvy, (or the Thekikgen himself) can rescue me.
Here is what I have done:
I downloaded the modded firmware to a USB stick, I updated the firmware from this image then rebooted the MPC
I then I opened a command line and connected to the MPC using ssh
I get the message that the identity of the host cant be established and do I want to continue.
I enter "yes" and I get the warning message that my MPC IP address has been permanently added to the list of known hosts.
(so far this is all as it should be)
I downloaded WinSCP as recommended but I cant get any further.
When I try to connect I get a request for password, (I though that the modded firmware didnt need one??).
I get the same request for a password when trying the keyscan command.
Has anyone successfully completed this process?
Any ideas what I am doing wrong? - (please be as non technical as you can).
Thanks
