That's my man in the Bronx. He likes to keep a low low profile so I won't blow up his spot. He does have mad heat (mad crates) in his stash. Cool azz dude too. You'll leave his crib salivating for real.

Actually he is mad cool with D.I.T.C. He puts Lord Finesse onto a lotta rare stuff. I know Premo was pissed with the Strictly Breaks series, but the Dusty Fingers series doesn't put songs that have been sampled on the LP

Actually, Dusty Fingers has a LOT of pre sampled stuff. I just heard the sample for Jeru's "Dirty Rotten Scoundrel" the other day. Give me a minute and I'll name some more.

if i were a big time producer I would pissed too at his particular breaks series. I can just image what premo goes through to get cleared such rare samples (Mass Appeal, Above the clouds, etc). Those are rare samples he found, I heard the original and still have no idea what he was smoking when you produced them.

Premo gets mad because he probably didn't clear all of the samples.

And both songs were on the series before they sampled them. As a matter of fact in the Scratch mag issue with Dre he has the Dusty Fingers LP in the studio which might make you think he sampled "Pigs Go Home" from there and not the "Getting Straight" soundtrack. Really only Dusty Vol. 1 has songs that were sampled before the series (the Billy Brooks/Tribe sample & the Oliver Sain/P-Diddy/Pete Rock sample)

on rob swift's soulful fruit he uses mad sticky fingers beats, many that have been sampled and plays alot of them like they were sampled, I always enjoyed hearing that album, it always sounded so much more real that way in the raw
