Hey guys, sorry for asking such a simple question but I just can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong here.
Basic facts first: I recently bought the MPC One (love it) and want to use it to arrange my own songs using drum samples, my microkorg synthesizer and some vocals running through a ve-20. Now I have both the synthesizer and the vocals processor connected to the MPC’s inputs, I‘ve got my deadphones connected to the phones jack.
All I want to do is: record synth and vocal sounds.
I read the manual and it seems easy - I created a new track, went to audio, enabled master and armed the track for recording audio, made sure mute and solo are off as well as automation. When I play the synth I can hear its sound. So I press play record and play and just play my synth part
BUT
The MPC doesn’t seem to record it? I play and play but no sound is captured.
I’m going crazy over this as it’s such a rudimental feature and I’m sure there must be an easy solution
Thanks a lot for reading and responding
