I am helping another member Stephen to write a universal program editor for all versions of the mpc. To do this we require blank and non blank APS, PGM ALL and SEQ files from the 3000 for we dont own this machine to make em.

Note for those a bit weary about leaking their beat programming skills the non blank files with programming on them, send the crap ones u dont like. tis only so we can see the differences between the blank and used files so we can determine how its used. That way we can create the program.

One of the reasons why this is being done is because I my self own a 2000XL and a 1000 and have to sometimes load them interchangeably and as we know the damn buggers never want to load old or new APS or ALL files forcing us to save them as PGM and SEQ.

Please if you are willing to help send your blank files formats to [email protected] thank you.

I have never worked with a MPC60, but if u get the files to us we could look into it and see what possible, we would also need someone like ya self to help us to know how the MPC60 operates, like does it have ALL files and stuff like that...does it store sounds in PGM files etc.

The upgraded 60 does have All, PGM SND, and APS files, the old OS does not, and I can't provide the old OS files so that will be up to some other die hard.

the 60 can import 3000 files, but it takes a long time, if this can be done in your program it would be very cool, although it will take a lot to get me to switch from the mpc editor.

lol, I dont want you to switch from the mpc editor, just a thing where we can do the things we find so hard and long to do.
I hate having to run back and forth from one studio to home turn convert my all files to seq's. its a pain !!
