Recording a clip

I'm new and have a question........ I've notice when people record a clip they only press the record buttom only . When I press the record, it just blinks until I press the play then it records the clip.

Anything I'm doing wrong.

Hey there - I think you should be able to push shift+record, go to settings, and then configure what starts recording (sounds like you want "rec button").
