Irijule TheoryBoard

Does anyone have any thoughts on the TheoryBoard. Would adding this gear be beneficial or is it the same as using pad perform? I'm on the waiting list but it's taking forever so I'm thinking about backing out .

I don't see the point. You can make an infinite amount of progressions in progression mode so any chord theory hardware seems massively redundant. The only thing you lose is a basic strum . You can use performance mode with the arp and create Beethoven like compositions if you like. If Akai would give us additional settings for performance mode like arp/note repeat per pad the progression mode would even out perform scaler as a performance tool. I had a kordbot and realized it does nothing I cant do with Akai's progression mode. Except for strum that is, which is a bit annoying (Get on it Akai plz)

These are cool until you want to do real time inversions, extensions, modal and key changes. I would love to have a 6 x 16 or 8 x 12, Full size MPC drum pad that supports MPE. No more banking and performing all the things I've mentioned above would be easier.
