Anyone know how to properly convert multis/programs with the correct parameters from a sample CD to MPC4000 format using CDXtract or the 4000.
I've tried both and have been unsuccessful merging the programs together properly.
CDXtract doesn't recognize multis and the 4000, though it does, doesn't seem to me a better solution.
For instance, if I'm converting a Drum Sample CD that has a kick, snare, hi-hat, etc. program for every kit I'd like all of those programs to be merged together into one. That way I don't have to switch to a different program to record each drum part.
Similarly, if I'm converting an Instrument Sample CD with a program for each layer of every instrument (similar to a combination for Korg users) I'd like all of those programs to be merged together to get the originally intended sound without the necessity of loading and recording each layer individually.
Please inform of the best procedure to accomplish this task.
