I've changed the JD-XI to ....
- ProgRx/Tx Ch = 16
- Tx Edit Data = On
- Sync Mode = Slave
- Clock Source = USB (because I've plugged USB out of JD-XI into MPC USB.)
- USB Drv = Generic
I set a MIDI program on the MPC One
- MIDI port = JD-XI MIDI 1
- Program CH = 15 (Roland JD-XI uses hex numbers. So 16 Hex = 15 decimal.)
And in preferences set the MPC One to send MIDI clock and MMC. And Program Change to Program.
In theory ... when I press play on the MPC One it should start the Roland JD-XI, both running at the same BPM. Instead though, nothing happens. I've got a Beatstep Pro that controls the JD-XI, so I know it works.
I am at least able to send MIDI notes back and forth from between the MPC One and the JD-XI, but that's it.
Any ideas how to fix this ...? I would certainly appreciate. And hello everyone! I'm new here, and a new MPC One owner.
