License Error

I want to install the MPC software on my new Mac mini but there is an license error. I have an old iMac I will replace now where the MPC software is installed and I installed it on a MacBook Air a few weeks ago which I already have sold because it was to weak.

Now it seems I can install the software only on 2 computers and there is no option to kick out computers do not use anymore.

Any ideas? Could anyone help?

MPC Software v1 or 2? For V1 you need to contact Akai to reset your activations. For MPC 2, you need to deactivate the licenses for the unused computers, you should be able to do this through the iLok app, otherwise contact Akai.

You have to remove the license from the old macs via the Ilok software. I’m not sure if you need access to the old hardware to remove them.

See if you can deactivate them from your current Mac. It shouldn’t take more than a couple of clicks hopefully.

Worst case scenario, you have to call Akai to get them to reset the activations for you.
