I'm seeing something weird with MIDI programs and it seems like a bug but I wanted to check on here to see if anyone else has come across this. I have two programs for two different hardware synths (Hydrasynth and Prophet 6), each connected to its own port on the MPC Live. There are some CC#s that are the same between the two programs (for example CC 50 General Purpose 3 LSB). What I've noticed is that if I record automation for CC50 on a MIDI track using the Hydrasynth program, the automation will be shown on the Prophet 6 program as well. This is obviously confusing as it looks like there's already automation on the Prophet 6 MIDI track even though there is none. Has anyone else seen this? Thanks in advance.

Each of the synths has their own MIDI channel and output port - also, this is applicable regardless of incoming MIDI CCs. Here's how you can reproduce it:

1. Setup a new MIDI program on track 1. Select any output port & channel.
2. Go to Q-Link Edit mode and assign CC# 50 to one of the Q-Link knobs. Record automation on track 1 using that Q-Link knob.
3. Setup another new MIDI program on track 2. Select a different output port & channel from track 1.
4. Go to Q-Link Edit mode on the track 2 MIDI program and assign CC# 50 to one of the Q-link knobs. Press play and you'll see the visual feedback of the track 1 automation.

For what it's worth it looks like this is just a visualization bug - the track 1 automation does not get written to track 2 when you turn on overdub or anything

On main screen:
trk1, midichnl 1, pgm 1, mpc a, midi 001, recorded cc50 animation.
trk2, midichnl 2, pgm 2, mpc b, midi 002, no recorded animation.

Trk1, grid view, cc50 animation shows.
Trk2, grid view, no cc50 animation shows.

Preferences / Midi Sync, “track” highlighted for all ports.
Expected all cc movement to be unique to track.
Visually for q-link, No.

Look like a visual q-link bug,

I expected trk2 q-link to not move at all, it moves.
