I totally agree! I do have little hope that we'll get Hype, though.

I've been exploring these plugins since I got my One back in August, and I can't for the life of me figure out what Bassline can do that Tubesynth can't do better - has anyone found a niche for this plugin?

I agree. Bassline feels completely redundant to me to the point where I've never used it on a finished track that I can remember.

I use baseline for a quick baseline (duh) that I switch out for a external synth once im at my desk. That's about it lol.

I think it's less processor-heavy, so that's a purpose. But then again, hw many basslines do you need on a single track...

Sorry for the late reply.. I already donated it to a friend that was dying to have it. I had no reason to keep it, and the condition wasn't valued at more than 500 euro, so why even bother putting it on sale.

I was one of the original Live owners that sold and upgraded to the Live 2. Only problem I have with it is the mute groups. That’s it. Other than that, I love it. I think it’s a more complete machine. I am able to make drums on the fly, as opposed to finding that perfect drum for my project. I will always have my samples, but it’s nice to have a dedicated drum synth. This is an amazing plug-in!

Has there been any leaks or communications that Hype is coming to MPC One? I kinda ruled out the Force because I'm not and don't want to be an Ableton user - I use MPC 2 and Bitwig. But I am drawn to the Force because of it's larger clip-launching grid and better synths. If I can get Hype on my MPC then maybe it wont matter as much.

Or... dumb question, but does Force work with MPC 2 software?

Alot of those plug-ins show up on the screen bcz its in Controller Mode.
Akai should make it possible to Swap Plug-Ins with a 3 Plug Limit. Meaning having the ability to Swap Hype Synth for Drum Synth, etc....Vice Versa

Well, almost 1 year later since this thread began and we only got Drum Synth. Something tells me all of those plugins are vaporware or were early alphas that never saw the light of day. Since then, I did pick up a Force and can attest that Hype absolutely blows away Tubesynth, Bassline, and Electric (IMHO). Just a fantastic synthesizer to have in standalone. Love the choir/vocal patches.

I'd buy Hypesynth for a dollar
